kistrin

kistrin
Naturally occurring inhibitor (68 residue peptide) of platelet aggregation found in the venom of Malayan pit viper Agkistrodon rhodostoma. Kistrin has an RGD site that competes for the platelet IIb/IIIa integrin and is therefore one of the disintegrins.
